Information Technology Policy

Please read this document and all referenced documents carefully.  Once signed, it becomes a binding agreement.
 
Terms and Conditions:
  • The District’s policies, rules and regulations pertaining to the use of the District’s computer and technology services are incorporated herein by reference [IIBGA].  You can reference the full document by requesting a copy of the agreement from the district office.
  • I have read and understand the District’s policies, rules, and regulations pertaining to the use of the District’s computer and technology services [IIBGA].  I consent to the District’s policies, rules and regulations, and I agree to abide by those policies, rules, and regulations.  I understand that any violation of those provisions may result in disciplinary actions and the revocation of my use of the District’s computer and technology services.
Parent or Guardian Permission:
  • The District’s policies, rules and regulations pertaining to the use of the District’s computer and technology services are incorporated herein by reference [IIBGA]. 
  • As the parent or guardian of this student, I have read and understand this agreement, as well as the District’s policies, rules and regulations pertaining to the use of the District’s computer and technology services [IIBGA].  I consent to the District’s policies, rules and regulations, and I agree to abide by those policies, rules, and regulations.  I understand that any violation of those provisions may result in disciplinary actions and the revocation of my use of the District’s computer and technology services.  I understand and agree that electronic mail and files stored on District servers are not private.  The District may log the use of all systems and monitor all system use, including e-mail transmissions.
  • I understand that some material accessible through computer and technology services may be defamatory, illegal, inaccurate, and potentially offensive.  I understand that it is impossible for the District to restrict access to all controversial materials, and I will not hold the District responsible for materials acquired by use of the computer and technology services.
  • I also agree to report any misuse of the services to the District.
  • I accept full responsibility for supervision if and when my child’s use of the computer and technology services is not in a school setting.
  • I hereby give my permission to have my child use the District’s computer and technology services.
  • We understand that our child’s art work/writing/photo/video clip and/or first name may be considered for publication on the Internet as part of our school’s web page during this school year.  We also understand that all work will appear with a notice prohibiting the copying of any student’s work or photo with out express written permission of the school, the student and his/her parent.
  • No student’s full name, social security number, student number, home address, telephone number, or personal e-mail address, or those of the students family members, will be published on District Web pages without separate permission of the parent.
  • We grant permission for the publication of our son/daughter’s art work/writing/photo/video clip and / or first name of the school’s web page for the school year 2007-08.  A copy of the web page containing our child’s art work/writing/photo/video clip and / or first name may be printed out and sent home at the request of the parent.
