Arizona Desert Parent Teacher Organization
The purpose of the Arizona Desert Parent/Teacher Organization is to support and enhance the educational programs at Concord School and to strengthen the relationship between home and school. Information about membership in the Arizona Desert PTO is distributed in September. Each family is invited to join the PTO.
PTO meetings are held six times a year, usually on a Thursday, and alternate between morning and evening. Meetings often include speakers or a forum and are open to the Arizona Desert community. Meeting dates and times are published in the Crier. Topics and times are announced in the Arizona Desert Crier and posted on the school calendar.
The PTO coordinates many enrichment programs, organizes fund raisers, and plans several community events at Arizona Desert. All events serve to enhance a child's experience while at Arizona Desert. Funds raised sponsor programs such as Art Masterpiece, and Bravo and allow for the purchase of curriculum support materials.
